Austin Texas Will Always Be Bae

“I always love to come to Austin.” – R. Lee Ermey

Austin is actually a whole vibe. Besides the cost of living amongst other things, I love the city. The weirdness, the food, the vibe, the scenes. There’s just soo much to love. This summer, Austin was one of the places on my list to visit and I sure had a great time.

Business led me to Austin but I ended up being a tourist for a day. I went on this journey with my brother Emmanuel and Laura.

We had a blast exploring the city.

We spent a good amount of time on South Congress. If you’re ever visiting Austin, I highly recommend this area. There’s a lot to do on this strip.

We walked around…

We got juice from Juice Austin…

We flexed…

I got a henna…

We ate Amy’s Ice Cream…

Once we were done with South Congress, we drove to 360 Bridge to go hiking.

The view was breathtaking. Goodness, you can’t tell me there isn’t a God with the magical creation that is nature. We spent sometime just staring at the lake and enjoying the view. Sometimes it’s important to sit and watch. This form of meditation is important for rejuvenation.

After the hike. we stopped at Ramen Tatsu-Ya. We initially wanted The Big Kahuna, which is a Hawaiian Spot, but it was closed. The food was decent at Ramen Tatsu-Ya, but it was heavily over priced.

We had such a great time in Austin and I learned a bit from my day in Austin.

  1. Find Your Own Adventure: Life never plays out as we plan. It’s important to find adventure along the way. I’m happiest when I’m on an adventure. I think God wants us to find our adventure even when things don’t seem to be perfect.
  2. Don’t Be Afraid To Live: I did so much in one day that it felt like a whole weekend. I was not afraid to live my life and enjoy myself. I’m the Minister of Enjoyment and I want my life to be full of adventures and great experiences.
  3. Enjoy The View: I’m grateful for the ability to see because this world is a beautiful place. Being at the top of the world felt amazing and peaceful. My problem became irrelevant as I saw how little it was compared to the vastness of the world.

I hope you found this blog insightful and I hope this inspires you to find adventure every day. Thanks for reading beauties! Until next time, you can keep up with me on Instagram @iam_Deborah.
